A splendid late 19th century French writing table in mahogany. Embellished with lovely brass mounts and brass inlay throughout. The rectangular top is fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface, complete with gilt tooled decorations to the surrounds. There is a single drawer to the freeze, fitted with charming and original solid brass handles. Standing on turned and fluted legs, united by an intricate under-stretcher.Finished to the rear so that this table could be free standing within a room if desired. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
