A very fine antique English country house Letter / Mail / Post Box.

Made from English Oak in the form of a Sentry box with a shuttered postal slot above the glazed aperture housing a charming signed solider watercolour by the famous military artist, Richard Simpkin.

Dating to the late Victorian / early Edwardian era, c.1900. Excellent condition measuring 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 17" tall.
