Description

An attractive 18th century oak coffer with a carved front and a hinged lid opening to reveal a spacious interior. The front is carved, with large decorative diamond detail in the centre panels. Raised on straight legs. The initials ‘E.P’ are carved into the top left-hand side.

Height – 70.5cm / Width – 110cm / Depth – 51.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some marks and scratches to the top (pictured). There is evidence of old historic woodworm, this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. There have been losses to the legs also (pictured). There is a carved set of initials ‘ E.P’ to the top left-hand side (pictured).
