Description

A well-presented Georgian antique oak coffer with. The top is hinged, and the front adorned with raised panels. The spacious interior is complete with a candle box to the left-hand side, and two small, functional drawers underneath it. To the bottom of the chest there are two fitted drawers, each with brass swan neck handles. Raised on bracket feet. This item is complete with a working lock and key for the main compartment.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some staining to the lid, as well as some scratches towards the bottom at the front (pictured). One of the escutcheons is missing and it appears as though the handles have been replaced along with the hinges (pictured). All drawers run smoothly, and the piece is structurally solid and sound.
