Tunbridge ware rosewood veneered single compartment tea caddy, circa 1840

The front and lid with tulipwood crossbanded borders and decorative geometric panels.

Original inner lid, wear to the embossed red paper lining to the lid and foil compartment lining.

In very good sound condition, signs of age, use, wear, and refinishing with minimal losses,

still very presentable with rich colours.

4,3/4" x 3,3/4" x 4,1/8" or 121mm x 95mm x 103mm
