The mahogany fall with unusual yew wood cross banding between boxwood and ebony stinging which opens to reveal a well fitted interior which has 10 pigeon holes and 2 banks of 3 drawers and a small centre cupboard with Sheraton inlay which opens to reveal another 3 drawers flanked by 2 tall drawers. The replaced black leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. This wonderful quality piece of George II period furniture has a wonderful original colour and patina and stands on shaped bracket feet.
