Description

Antique Omega gun metal pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega logo which is on the regulator.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal which is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which was originally used in gun manufacture but was later replaced by steel. The condition is good with just some surface marking, nothing too serious at all.

Both the bezel and the case back are screw fitting, a good sign of quality.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has an old repair around 11 o’clock, and some faint hairline cracks, but a lot of it is covered by the bezel.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
