Webberley Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Very sturdy and robust and newly upholstered in a fine quality blue, teal and pewter silk upholstery fabric from the Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company (retails at £250 per meter), with antique pewter nailed finish.

Very comfortable with a well padded seat, sturdy and robust with no movement or weak joints.
In excellent original condition with only minor marks and dings, a couple of old worm holes to the inner face of one leg (about four and all long since treated and dead), the stool made by hand in around 1830.

All original timbers including seat rails and difficult to distinguish from a Queen Anne Stool c. 1710

21 inches long, 17 inches deep, 21 inches high (max to top of seat pad).
