Striking, well painted pair of Swedish naive portraits, circa 1840

Painted in oil on tinplate panels in later gilt frames labelled August Bergin & Co, Stockholm Est 1864

Partially readable pencil inscriptions to the the backs of the frames

The frames with some shallow losses to the gilt
