Dresden Porcelain Monkey Band Figure Clarinet Player

Description

A sweet late 19th century Dresden porcelain monkey band figure of a clarinet player. Finely painted; dressed in a yellow jacket with pink breaches and patterned waistcoat wearing a powdered wig. Underglaze blue crossed swords marks to base and incised numerals.

He measures 13cm (5 1/8") high and 5.5cm (2 1/8") wide.

Condition: the instrument is broken off below his hands. No other issues.
