Antique English Bronze Dog Inkwell - King Charles Spaniel C.1880

A handsome Victorian novelty inkwell, cast in bronze in the form of a King Charles Spaniel, beautifully executed with two lovely glass eyes.
 
The underside is inscribed with a roman numeral IV. The hinged head lifts to reveal a removable glass ink chamber.
 
Victorian in era, dating to c.1880 it measures 5'' x 3'' x 2 3/4'' tall.
