Unusual and stylish, Renaissance revival / Arts and Crafts solid silver ewer and platter, Italy, 1930s.
 
Marked with the 800 standard silver mark and lozenge mark.
 
Chased and textured decoration, with rosettes and leaf scroll mounts with oval coral cabochons.
 
A fine celebration wine jug and bread plate.
 
All in good sound condition, noting dents to the ewer on the base foot and sides, two cabochon with cracks and losses.
 
Diameter of platter 9,1/2'' or 240mm
 
Height of ewer 6,1/8'' or 155mm
 
Gross weight 808 grams.
