Description

A good early Georgian walnut bureau circa 1730 in very good condition considering it's great age .

The bureau has wonderful full grain burr and curl walnut with herringbone banding and cross grain mouldings .

the drawers have all oak linings and original brass plate handles ,the interior is nicely fitted with cubby holes drawers and centre cupboard ,and a new leather writing insert .

The fall front has a working lock and a single key .

There has been some light restoration over the years these are just minor patches of veneer .

The bureau has been professionally cleaned and waxed and retains it original patina and wonderful colour .
