A decorative early 20th century oriental carved camphorwood chest or trunk with the hinged lid revealing a spacious interior, with a candle box to the left-hand side. Decorative carving throughout, depicting scenes of oriental life, with carved wooden handles to either side.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including age-related marks to the top, front and sides. Some splits in places, but it remains structurally solid and sound. Has the lovely camphorwood smell to the inside.
