Antique Mahogany Press Cupboard by ‘Heal & Son, London’

A well-presented antique Victorian mahogany linen press cupboard by ‘Heal & Son of London’, having moulded cornice top, two blind panel cupboard doors that open to reveal a fitted interior of three tray drawers and a single fitted drawer below. The base consists of a chest of two short over two long drawers each with wooden knobs, raised on a plinth base. A rather lovely Victorian mahogany cupboard of good quality. Maker’s mark to the inside of drawer.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including age-related marks to the front and sides (pictured), but overall, good. Some minor losses in places including some ‘knocks’ to the cornice. The cupboard has a good rich colour to the front, however, both sides are faded (visible in the photographs). Structurally solid and sound. Separates into three parts for ease of transport and movement.
