This Victorian leather reading chair was made circa 1860.

The carved solid walnut show wood is richly carved to the front arms that runs down to the elegant cabriole legs and having lovely scroll carved hand grips.

The oval deeply buttoned leather back adds not only to the comfort, but support for you as you relax and the presence it will give to your home.

This Victorian leather reading chair has been fully upholstered and recovered in the finest leather that was put on in a raw state before it has been hand dyed and then finished in the perfect faded green. The finish has been applied so that it looks as if the leather has been there all the chairs life.
