Description

1920s Limit full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement was made by Thommen for Limit and is signed Limit, Swiss made. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking and some slight unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition. The front cover has monogrammed initials.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition, as is the dial with original hands with some marking to the end of the minute hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
