A fascinating Edwardian street scene, of a crowd in suits, dresses and hats gathered to hear the ''Reading of the Charter (granted by Edward VII on the 24th June 1902) by William Billy Esq. 16 July 1902'' in Morecambe (revealed by a sign in the top right of the photo.
The photograph is in its original treacle like varnished frame and is inscribed on the mount.
Condition:
In good condition commensurate with age.
