Of excellent construction in solid mahogany with attractive flame mahogany veneers and embellished with brass moldings and mounts throughout. The pair of doors (lockable, key supplied) open to reveal a fitted interior complete with the original slides/trays. A bar and hooks have also been fitted so that this space could be used for hanging of clothes if desired. The bottom section has a series of 2 short over 3 long, graduated drawers all fitted with their original solid mahogany bun handles. Locks working, key present. All sitting on a plinth base.
This bold and impressive linen press is a real statement piece of the highest quality. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition. With a rich colour and warm patina. Separates into 3 sections for ease of transport and installation.
