Serpentine Front Mahogany Sideboard C.1920

Description

Elegant early 20th.c. Sheraton style mahogany sideboard c.1920. Serpentine fronted with a reeded edge to the top over seven drawers of graduated depth. Curved and cockbeaded drawer fronts with flame mahogany centres, inlaid and crossbanded surround and original crisply cast brass handles. Shaped apron below the middle drawer. Inlaid detail to the front stiles and repeated on the legs with moulded spade feet. Solid mahogany sides. Oak drawer linings. Some old wear to the top, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
