Antique Victorian Solid Silver Jam Spoon, Butter Knife & Pickle Fork Set

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine example of a set of Solid Sterling Silver cutlery consisting of a butter knife, jam spoon and a pickle fork. They are good quality pieces made of heavy gauge silver with engraved details and beautiful scrolling handles. The total weight is 105g and the longest piece the pickle fork is 7 1/2" (19cm) long.

The set comes in its original beautiful red leather fitted box with a velvet and silk interior and the maker's name under the lid.

Each piece is fully hallmarked for Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1900.

They are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and the set displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
