The 3 heavy weights that drive the 8 day movement are hung on strong steel wire. The pendulum and escapement are of regulator quality and the going train has maintaining power to avoid the loss of "milliseconds" when winding.

Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Good & Full Antique Working Condition.
The fine solid Mahogany case (77.5in or 197cm high) was likely to have been constructed by English Craftsmen and has attractive fretwork panels to the hood, acanthus decorations to the reeded trunk columns, astragal glazing to the door and raised on bracket feet.
