Antique Georgian Style Burr Walnut Bureau

1920 - 1940
Description

A smart and useful walnut bureau in the antique Georgian style, this dates from around the 1930’s period.

It is of super quality, and is a very practical size, being nice and slim, with a generous leather top writing area, and lots of extra storage in the drawers below. The drawers are graduated in depth & have fine quality original brass handles. It has a serpentine shaped front & sits on bracket feet.

The colour is gorgeous and the grain patterns are striking throughout. We have just had this French polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.

Depth – 18 inches , 46 cm

Height – 38 inches , 85 cm

Knee height – 27 inches , 69 cm
