Rare Edwardian Silver Snuff Box with Cameo Insert 1901

Description

This superb EDWARDIAN SILVER SNUFF BOX was made by the John Edward Wilmott in 1901.

Of rectangular plain form with crimped edges, this superb and unusual Silver Snuff Box is decorated with a carved shell cameo to the centre of the lid.

There are no added engravings, monograms or initials and the lovely box is in excellent condition despite being over 120 years old.

Dimensions:

Length – 2.75” (70mm) / Width – 1.75” (44mm) / Height – 1.25” (32mm)

Weight – 62gm / 1.98ozt

Condition:
