Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The stone is secured in an eight claw open collet above a scalloped back plate, allowing maximum light into the diamond. Two (one either side) small eight-cut diamonds are set in tapering shoulders, leading to a slim and fluted platinum shank.

Cut – Old European cut (eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – J (I to J in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 (SI1 in the shoulders).
Carat – 1.10 (with a further approximate 0.02 carat in the shoulders).

Circa – 1920.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.83 x 6.89mm. Sits 5.8mm from the finger.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – Platinum. French hallmarks.
