Very Large Oak Refectory Table & Benches C.1900.

1900 - 1920
Description

Superb early 20th.c. oak refectory table and benches c.1900. Three meters or very nearly 10 feet long – big enough to seat six down each side. In solid oak throughout, top made of three massive 3? thick planks. Raised on attractively shaped ends with moulded tops and feet and a baluster silhouette column. With a long stretcher joined to the ends with a through tenon and tusk joint and braced in the centre for extra strength. Together with a pair of 11½" wide benches of matching design and the same length as table. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
