Art Deco Gents President Wrist Watch 14k Rose Gf, 21 Jewels, by Bulova

For your consideration is this wonderfully stylish Art Deco manual gentleman's wrist watch by the US watch company Bulova. This watch is powered by a good-quality American-made BULOVA 21-jewel hand wound mechanical movement. The outside of the case is stamped 14K GOLD FILLED BULOVA, the serial number starting with ‘2’ indicates on a Bulova of this era and with this particular movement, a manufacture date of 1942. The inside is signed BULOVA FIFTH AVE NEW YORK. Condition is excellent having not only been recently serviced but ultrasonically cleaned and fitted with a brand new leather strap. This watch is powered by a good-quality American-made BULOVA 21-jewel 7AP hand-wound mechanical movement. The 7AP was manufactured from 1936 to 1944 and features a Breguet hairspring, as used on other high-end watches such as Rolex and noted for aiding more consistent timekeeping throughout the duration of the wind. This particular 21-jewel movement would have been one of Bulova’s top-of-the-range watches is stamped with the anchor date-code symbol for 1942.
