Antique Carved Oak Monks Bench

An early 20th Century antique oak monk’s bench or hall settle having a flip over backrest to create a useful tabletop, and hinged seat with storage below. It has a decorative carved front panel, raised on shaped sides, with carved detail throughout including to the backrest and tabletop.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including age related marks to the tabletop and seat, but overall, good. Structurally solid and sound. Some minor losses to the edge of the tabletop.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores all our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is home ready!
