For your consideration is this superbly stylish Art Deco 8 day clock by the German clock makers, Kienzel. Beautiful blue tinted glass is a good modernist example timepiece of the 1930's. The bronze case is highly polished and lacquered. The chapter ring has raised brass Roman numerals on a black-painted rim which is raised on the brass base with two simple supports. The modernist styled clock hands are contained within the two sheets of circular rose-coloured glass. The eight-day movement by Kienzle is hidden behind the central brass disk. It has a built-in key, and has been fully serviced by an horologist and is in good working order and keeping good time.
