The ormolu case adorned with Sevres style hand decorated porcelain with a blue ground.

The circular face having Roman numerals adhorned with painted birds to the centre, blued steel hands and a very fine painted narrative scene beneath. The curved side panels with beautifully painted lake scenes with sailing boats, with convex curved decorated panels beneath.

The fully restored eight day spring driven French movement striking the hours and half hour on a single bell.
Movement stamped VAD and numbered 1633 17.1 Circa 1880.
This clock is in excellent original condition, the dial and Sevres panels are in perfect order, very crisp and a wonderful colour complimenting the very fine castings which have superb original gilding.
