Description

A stunning late Victorian figural cast bronze stamp box in the form of a particularly handsome postage stamp box.

Beautifully executed and cast in a heavy bronze, the lid opens to reveal the double postage stamp compartments with sloped interiors.

The previous owner had stuck on two protective pads to the underside which work well but can be removed if desired.

Dating to c.1880, the box remains in superb condition measuring 5" x 2 3/4" x 3".
