A stunning and large original antique French gilded bronze clock set.
Candelabra have 4 elaborate acanthus arms held aloft on asymmetric urns with conforming bases.

The beautiful, large porcelain enamel dial is complete with the original finely cut gilt brass hands and convex glass. The rear door is glazed with frosted glass.
The French movement is of high quality and is by Samuel Marti. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video to hear the bell and watch the clock running!.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration. The dial is also in excellent condition with just a hairline between the eight and nine. Candelabra are slightly distorted.

Samuel Marti clockmaker's mark on the movement backplate.
Complete with original pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
