A beautiful late 17th/early 18th century coffer, of substantial size, with repeating stylised foliate decoration in the medieval style, an internal candle box and its key - in original, untouched condition.
This coffer came out of a country house near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Condition:
In good condition with no problems. Some water marks and loss to edges of the bottom of the legs as is normal with these. A few ancient woodworm holes here and there. Structurally very sound. Ready to be used and enjoyed.
