Description

Small mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top console table c.1860. Original highly figured grey marble top with rounded front corners and a moulded edge. On a flame mahogany veneered base with a drawer hidden in the frieze. Curving bracket supports with applied acanthus leaf carving at the tops and scrolling detail to the both sides. Cupid’s bow shaped plinth, veneered to match and raised on superb carved claw feet with acanthus carving at the knees. Excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
