Mahogany Two Door Wardrobe C.1860.

19th century
Description

Very handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany wardrobe c.1860. Fitted with hanging rails (internal depth 18") over three drawers to the left hand side and a small compartment with a lift up lid in the right. Simple uncluttered design with a flared and crossbanded cornice over long arch top door panels with symmetrical veneers, raised mouldings and glass knob. Hardwood lined drawers with original flush fitting brass handles. Solid mahogany groundwork to the doors and solid mahogany sides to the body of the wardrobe. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Please note for delivery though the cornice is removable the body of the wardrobe is a single piece.
