A fine quality Victorian gentleman’s brass mounted coromandel wood shaving / vanity case, by A.F. Donagan of Cambridge, having a fitted interior containing three silver plate lidded glass jars, a collapsible shaving brush, three straight razors, a strop and various manicuring tools in a lift out tray.
With its working lock and key.
The case has an ivory maker’s plaque between the hinges and a lovely brass shield on the lid engraved R.V. LE BAS From FH, JUNE 1871.
Condition:
The case itself is in lovely condition with no issues or damage. The interior is also in good condition, but with some replacement / missing components in the lift out tray.
