A magnificent matched pair of Georgian silver salvers of impressive weight and quality, the pie crust borders are embellished with masks, shells and cable twist scrolls, and the trays themselves with chased decoration of flowers and rocaille shells in the mid-eighteenth century manner on a matted background. Handsome contemporary armorial crests to the centre. Raised on three substantial hoof feet. Fabulous gauge, quality and condition, and ready to be used. Both pieces are virtually identical.
