A beautifully assembled leather bound album, showing a well to do family on their European tour in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s, firstly travelling from Immingham to the Norweigan Fjords on Orient Line’s SS Orford, which was then more or less brand new, and visiting various destinations in Norway over ten days. They then made separate trips to various other European destinations, including the Cote D’Azur, the Dolomites, Merano, Innsbruck, Cortina, Salzburg, Nurnberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth and Antwerp, travelling by car, train, and finally by boat back into Harwich.
The album comprises a mixture of photographs, photographic postcards, printed postcards, stuck down cut outs from pamphlets and some loose pamphlets.
Condition:
In excellent condition. A few minor scuffs to the leather spine.
