Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
There are two carvers and four side chairs.
They are all very good quality, with stretchered bases and pierced backs.

They are in very good overall condition, all the frames are solid mahogany and have a beautiful patina. They have been cleaned and given a wax polish. They are all sturdy and sound, with no shakes or wobbles. There are various minor repairs here and there and some knocks and dings to the wood, as would be expected with chairs that are over 200 years old.

The worst wear and tear has been shown in the images, which is only on two of these chairs, however all of the chairs are sturdy and fit for purpose.
The drop in seats are all covered in beautiful red leather that also has a gorgeous patina, and is in excellent condition.
