Antique Burr Walnut Serpentine Shaped Dressing Table C1920

Superb Antique Burr Walnut Serpentine Shaped Dressing Table and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality burr walnut it ha# a triple bevelled mirrored set within a crossbanded walnut frame with small carved cartouche to the top centre. To the base there is a moulded and crossbanded edge to the serpentine shaped top above a central drawer with carved cartouche to the centre and carved frieze to each end. This is flanked on either side by four graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. To each corner there are beautifully carved supports. It is raised on short cabriole legs carved to the shoulders and on carved feet. A superb quality dressing table.
