Art Deco 0.40 Carat Old Cut Diamond Bombé Cluster Ring, Circa 1935

1920 - 1940
Description

A wonderful Art Deco diamond cluster. The bombé shaped ring is topped with an impressively white rubover set old European cut diamond. A further twenty-six rose cut diamonds are in set in the stunning intricate platinum surround, with stunning milgrained and pierced detailing, leading to a slim 18k white gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre with rose cut diamonds in the surround.

Colour – The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity – The centre stone is VS1. The diamonds in the surround are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.13 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.40 carat.

Circa – 1935.

Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The ring is 12.7mm at the widest point. Sits 5.5mm from the finger.

Metal –The head of the ring is platinum. The shank is 18k white gold. French hallmarks.
