Elegant small-scale double shield-back mahogany-framed settee with ‘Prince of Wales’ feather plumes and satinwood inlaid ‘wheatsheaf’ detail , open carved detail panel to the centre joining the two decorative chair-backs. The whole frame with box-wood stringing detai.
. The shaped out-swept arms each with a satinwood inlaid circular fan patera to the ends .

A finely-made decorative settee which would work well as a window seat or in a bedroom setting.
Stripped back to the original hessian base covering ready for re-upholstery to client’s own specification.
The frame in excellent original condition with a minor historic repair to the centre of the back frame . All inlay present and complete.
