Description

Antique gun metal pocket watch.

The watch has a nice quality jewelled stem-winding movement which is working nicely. It is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal which is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which was originally used in gun manufacture but was later replaced by steel. It is in nice condition with just some light surface marking.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The dial has a very faint hairline crack between the centre and 12 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition. Blued steel hands, double sunk dial and red outer 24 hour markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
