Edwardian Mahogany Antique Work Table

This Stunning Edwardian Mahogany Antique Work Table / Sewing Table dates from ca. 1900 and has the original retailers label Harrods Ltd of Manchester. It has a folding top with striking sunburst inlay in the corners. The top opens and the interior has a storage area, originally for knitting and sewing equipment. This fine antique table stands on four tapering legs with castors and has a useful lower tier. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
