18th.c. Oak Gateleg Supper Table C.1780.

Description

Fine example of the classic late 18th.c. oak gateleg or drop leaf supper table c.1780. Oval top of solid oak boards with two folding leaves. Over a long knife drawer in one end and a lovely ogee arch shaped apron at both ends. Raised on elegant slim turned legs each retaining their original feet and joined with moulded stretchers. Makes an ideal supper table for four people but folds down to just 16" wide. Good mellow colour and very good condition with original hinges. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
