A Superb Pair of Victorian Period Burr Walnut & Ormolu Mounted Pier Cabinets.

Description

A superb pair of Victorian Period burr walnut & ormolu mounted pier cabinets. Each having a rectangular top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with a walnut moulded edge above a fine kingwood, ebony and boxwood inlaid frieze. The twin glazed doors opening to reveal a velvet lined shelved interior. The doors with kingwood banding and ormolu rosettes and beading, flanked by free standing ormolu mounted columns with purple heart inlay, with beautifully figured walnut ends and raised on shaped plinths. English circa 1870-1880

Condition: This pair of cabinet are in perfect beautiful condition
