Description

A Fine quality Victorian Period mahogany pedestal desk by James Shoolbred. The rectangular solid mahogany top having an inset tan leather writing surface with gilt and blind tool detail. Having an arrangement of nine rectangular solid mahogany drawers with fine quality brass handles and mahogany drawer linings. The front with reeded pilasters, with solid mahogany sides and a panelled back so it can be used free standing in the centre of a room. Stamped to the drawer JAS Shoolbred. English circa 1890-1900, in lovely condition, a fabulous colour and patination. Splits into three sections for easy transportation.

Dimensions: 48" wide x 24" deep x 30" high (knee hole 18" wide x 24" high)
