Victorian Walnut Davenport Desk

An attractive antique Victorian walnut davenport desk with small compartment to the top, above a hinged writing slope surface with inset leather top, opening to reveal a fitted interior of two small drawers and pigeonholes. The base has a set of four fitted drawers to one side and a set of four dummy drawers to the other. Decorative inlaid detail throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including some age-related marks but overall, rather good. The leather writing surface remains in good condition with no major rips or tears. There are some losses to the veneer in places but generally, it remains good. Structurally solid and sound. A good example of an antique walnut davenport.
