An Exhibition Quality Victorian Aesthetic Period Walnut & Ebony Day Bed

Description

An exhibition quality Victorian aesthetic Period walnut & ebony day bed. Finished on both sides and with a deep buttoned back rest and sprung seat. The frame in walnut having extremely fine carved detail with inset ebony paterae. Supported on turned and carved supports with brass and porcelain castors. Upholstered in a Gothic Revival Heraldic Fabric. Possibly by Lambs of Manchester although unmarked. English circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 27" high head x 29" wide x 64" long (seat height 14")

Condition: This day bed is in stunning condition, superb quality throughout
