Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
What’s nice, is that it still has the original needlepoint fabric which is in very good condition. It has a sturdy solid walnut or beech frame with some subtle carvings & cabriole legs. The open arms are upholstered on the tops & the back has a plain original fabric. The upholstery is all hand tacked onto the frame.
We also have a matching pair of salon armchairs in the same fabric & also in good condition.
There is an image of them showing on this listing too.
